LIFE =  DEATH

This collaboration was created from a love of fine art, dance and alternative culture. It explores the ideas of control and letting go through the themes of life and death. We've all carved a way of expressing ourselves, in the most authentic way we can.

Our pieces alone are individually significant and coincide perfectly with each other. They are also inspired by a mutual understanding of self expression and acceptance of emotions represented in the form of evolution. The heart for beating life and the skull for the stillness of death. The heart is wrapped in ribbon. It protects it and keeps it safe by trying to control what happens to it whereas the skull is cracked and standing alone. This is representing the feeling of finally letting go and giving back to nature. Everybody is a little broken but it will all be OK.

Death doesn't have to be the end.

Life is for living and death is the inevitable!

You can't have one without the other.

Live your truth and be authentically yourself always
